Hi, I’m Dana — a photographer passionate about capturing the artistry of movement and the moments that matter.

Specializing in dance photography, I work closely with dancers and studios to freeze motion in its most powerful and expressive form. Whether it’s the quiet strength of a studio portrait, the dynamic intensity of live performance, or the elegance of a perfectly timed leap, my goal is to create images that reflect the passion, discipline, and beauty of dance With over 35 years of dance experience, including choreography, instruction, and management, my background allows me to catch the shot at just the right moment!

• Dance studios for recital coverage, studio marketing shoots, headshots, and portfolio sessions
• Individual dancers for personal branding, audition photos, and creative projects
• Companies and choreographers to document performances, rehearsals, and promotional material

While dance is my specialty, I also offer photography services in:

With every shoot, I aim to make people feel seen, confident, and connected to the story behind the image. My approach blends a trained eye for composition with a genuine respect for my subjects — whether they’re mid-air in a grand jeté or sharing a laugh during a candid moment.

Originally from Connecticut, my love for photography began with my father. He was the one who first handed me a camera, teaching me not just how to focus a lens, but how to see- to notice light and to wait for the right moment. 

Based in Richmond County, North Carolina, I’m available for local sessions and travel bookings.
